Problem 

There's a problem with clients being able to find and understand information on A for Apple's website, which is crucial for parents in the ABA program. They are missing information and finding it hard to navigate.

Research 

 1. Create a paper prototype based on the heuristic evaluation to help user navigate the A is for Apples website independently.

2.Ask participant consent before participating in the study. Go through risks and benefits with participant. Explanation of what will be ask

 

3. Ask participant to find the following sub tabs location while collecting data on the amount of tries for each person to find the correct location: 

  • Blog

  • Insurance

  • Our learning Approach 

  • Bay area Regional Center

  • FAQ. 

4. A/B testing and  collect data on hits and misses made by the participant. 

5. Find results 

6.Thank the participant for agreeing to be in the study 

Results 
  • Moving "Our Approach" under "About Us" resulted in 100% of participants finding it on the first try, while locating the "FAQ" subtab under "Resources" also had a 100% success rate on the first try.

  • However, finding the "Blog" subtab under the main "Resources" tab and the "Insurance" subtab under the "Services" tab had a 60% success rate on the second try and only 40% on the first try.

  • Similarly, locating the "Bay Area Regional Center" subtab under the "Resources" tab resulted in 60% success on the second try and 40% on the third try.
